@Biz, I wouldn’t even care so much about a paycut, considering what i spend on gas and tires. I am just worried with the work I do (administrative assistant) that now is not the time to move jobs. I put off finding a new job and now I feel I am kind of stuck, mostly because my husband doesn’t have a job.

I used to have a two hour commute – one way! I could only do that for six months and ended up getting a job close to home, with a severe pay cut, but my time is worth more! I usually get home by 5:15 and I don’t have to leave my house until 8:45!

Good work on the goals for the week, even though you haven’t had the best week otherwise. That is the sign of a real trooper. You know, there is no need to apologize either. That is part of the beauty of a blog is to just say it like it is. Have you thought about listening to books on cd during your commute? That might be a way to feel more productive during that time.

You’re doing great! Don’t try to take on too much, and don’t beat yourself up if you can’t accomplish one of your goals on a specific day.

You know that if I could find a way to ship you some non-fat TJ’s honey Greek-style yogurt, I would, right? I’m just afraid it would go bad along the way.

Maybe Chicago has a need for luthiers.

As for Starbucks, sometimes we project our feelings onto other people. And hey, the non-fat iced vanilla latte may not have been great, but it was drinkable, right?
