Walking and Stuffing

mosaic9daa761054d0e1d7ca0d9a03e2b67b26a48f4913.jpg Walking around Boston is amazing, everywhere you look there is something new to see. As I mentioned, the hinderance was that at the beginning of the day my feet were already in excruciating pain. I have tiny little petite feet that don't like pressure. My feet are about a size 6.5/7 but are very narrow with a high arch. I also have tiny hands. I am also only about 5 feet tall. One time I did like a 6 mile walk with my friend, we lost track of how far we were going because we were talking so much. When I got back my feet were in so much pain (pain had traveled up my legs too by then) that I couldn't walk for more than a day. I hate it. I feel like all I do is complain but I suppose we all have our own rivers to cross or whatever the term is. I refuse to let it get in the way of doing what I want to do. I knew ahead of time I would be in pain because it happens everytime. It's been that way as long as I can remember. Stupid feet. But I don't regret it, it was a great time. Anyway, back to my mission now. Back to the grind. Must have some restraint when it comes to the stuffing. Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad you had a good time. I’ve been there once, a long time ago as part of a high school field trip. Had a blast too! Hope you enjoy your holiday tomorrow!!

  3. I love Boston too! Such a cute little city. I hear you on the tiny part. I can never ever find running or ski gloves that are small enough for my hands and yet provided the kind of warmth I’m looking for.

Your comment on my blog yesterday, made me laugh!!! Thanks for reading and enjoy your stuffing!

  4. Sounds like a great trip! Have you thought about custom orthotics for your feet?

@Lori (Finding Radiance), people keep mentioning them to me, i just assume they are super ugly but never looked into it, i should.

  6. Robin, I am wondering the same thing as Lori, have you considered custom orthotics? At a minimum, have you considered going to a shoe store where they specialize in getting you the shoes that truly fit your feet and all their uniqueness? I am thinking a store like Fleet Feet, which is a running shoe store, but they fit them for walkers too. The shoes they picked out for me made a world of difference for me.

@South Beach Steve, i know i can’t afford anything specialized right now but maybe when things get better financially.

  7. I too think that some custom orthotics may really help you. I had a friend whose feet bothered her a lot, but mostly in the ball of her foot. She saw a podiatrist and it did help. (You may have already seen one.)

Boston pictures are beautiful – Wow!

I hope you have a great day tomorrow!

Beautiful photography. Did you take any of those. The feet. Your right everyone has their thing that keeps trying to hold them back. Mine has been the knee…or should i say knees. Because of that i only wear “good” shoes which makes “cute” shoes not worth it. A long day in even tennis shoes can give me a head ache. Who knows. i guess I’m still out of shape in many ways… especially my core. But the feet are so important. My friend went to a foot pathologist or foot zoner something like that and swears by it. When i was having back pain the exact same spot on my foot was all knotted up. Amazing how one thing can effect the other. When I’m rich I’ll have my own personal massage therapist LOL or I’ll just give a lot to charity and the feel good of that will relax my muscles =)

@Krystal, funny my husband offers foot rubs all the time but i don’t like them, my feet are that sensitive. yes, those are my pictures, every last one of them =)
